DETAILS
The 2021 'official' SFSFL season begins June 6th and runs 13 weeks. The details are mostly unclear at this time beyond opening day and the fact that we cannot play past August 29th, so with 13 Sundays I imagine only 2-3 that we will not have a game (likely July 4th and whatever other holiday(s) are in that span... you look it up!).
Anyway, the schedule will be revealed to us soon, typically matches are in 1 of 4 time slots - 9, 10:30, 12:15, & 2:45. It remains to be seen if this is still the case, but I do know that there are only two fields we can play on now - Beach Chalet and Crocker - I'll give you 1 guess as to which we prefer, but it will be luck of the draw (and historically luck is not an Indy trait, sorry)!
TEAM DUES
Since this is half a season, I expect half the cost for season fee, but other items such as your insurance card, field permit share, and uniform are fixed. I've already thrown down a deposit and since Parks & Rec are operating differently for practice permits and we have no idea if that will continue past May 31, we have to estimate that cost as well.
• $120 SFSFL season fee
• $31.50 CSAN Insurance Card (mandatory Player Pass)
• $48 Share of Permits ($42/permit x 2 (Tuesday and Thursday) = $84 x 20 weeks / 35 players*)
• $30 Uniform (home & away kit + shorts & socks. I know low price huh? I make ‘em fool!)
Total: $240.

As always, my goal is to make good on the promise of more swag, involved sponsors, more social exposure, and more opportunities to hang out, fundraise, and build the brand that gains more traction in San Francisco. Covid put a delay on many extracurriculars, but I'm back on the grind searching for new opportunities, developing new graphics, kits, and more. As we approach our 10th year, we're transitioning to shared leadership and delegating a lot of club responsibilities and people like me can focus on what I do best, and believe it or not that's not playing or coaching (but you see me!!).
