GENERAL INQUIRIES

Playing for IAC - like most teams, we're always looking to improve through recruiting. While we don't always have roster spots open, intermediate level players are welcome to practice with us regularly. Fill out the contact form to be added to the weekly practice email list, and we'll see you out there.

Sponsorship Opportunities - we try hard to integrate our sponsors' causes into our program. It's our preference to support our sponsors whenever possible, so if you have a specific idea of how we can help beyond the standard logo placement we'd love to hear it.

One of your players ____. - we love our players but we're not responsible for them as human beings. The club promotes good social skills, good manners, and good values but some of these animals don't listen. My only hope is that that they can be taught compassion and become remorseful over time.

Friendly Matches - scrimmages are a high priority for our club. Please use the contact form to arrange a date to scrimmage. We prefer playing in San Francisco, but are open to matches in the North and East Bay, or on the Peninsula.

Are you affiliated with ____. - probably not. The San Francisco Italian American Club (SFIAC) has similar initials, and the San Francisco Athletic Club sounds awfully familiar. Abbreviations can cause problems, but mostly we go by Indy, Independent, or even Independiente on occasion. A generic name has it’s pros and cons.

Can we borrow [player]. - sure. However, if it’s determined that you’ve been sweet-talking our guy with an intent to lure, there will be serious repercussions. Intense feuds have been started and maintained for such an offense, and I don’t mind mentioning our players may actually carry a curse. Of the small handful who have been foolish enough to stray, not one is what you could describe as ‘happy’ or ‘fulfilled’.
